The flexibility of when during the day you want to work, you can work morning, evening or night shifts. Then you have the flexibility of your job status as an employee, you can be full time, part time, or PRN/Per diem/As needed.

The median salary for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) is $48,820 per year / $23.47 per hour. The median salary for Registered Nurses (RNs) is $75,330 per year / $36.22 per hour. You can make more money by being a traveling nurse or working a lot of over time.
Reason #3 to become a nurse – high demand for nurses / Job security
The third reason to become a nurse is due to the high demand, over the next ten years (2020 – 2030), 276,800 new jobs will be added for Registered Nurses and 63,800 new jobs for Licensed Practical Nurses.
